This is a fullsize violin made by Louis Lowendall, in Germany, a renowned 19th/20th century violin maker and founder of the Lowendall school; producers of lovely sounding and projecting violin. It shall be sold ready to play, set up with rosewood/ebony/jujube/boxwood fittings, and strung with high quality Evah Pirazzi Gold strings. Instead of a label, the back of the pegbox is stamped Conservatory Violin. It has one repair, to the lower right of the front table. The violin and varnish is in a great deal of preservation for its age.
