Making

The violins by Niam Chauhan are made after the classic Cremonese makers such as Stradivari, and Guarneri “del Gesu”. The models used, such as the 1742 “Lord Wilton”, have proven to be successful in their sound and playability.

These violins can be made in either a straight & clean-finished, or antiqued manner. The antiqued violins are made to a high level of detail, where great care is given to replicate the features and patina of the classic violin/maker that is being copied.
