For sale is a reliable and versatile German cello bow made in Germany, c.1910. Silver mounted, with a length of 702mm and weight of 83.9g. The handle bears the stamp “42”.

The pernambuco is strong and deep-red brown. The head appears to be stylised most in a Peccatte model. If you have a look at our button photo, you’ll see such intricate craftsmanship!

The presentation and condition are good overall with no crack repairs. The specific identity is still to be worked out, but the bow will remain at this price regardless
