A fine late 1800s violin labelled “Meinradus Frank”

This is an exceptionally well-made violin from the late 1800s, with the body modelled on Guarneri del Gesu – It is either Germanic or Bohemian in origin, the specific maker would be great to find out but for now it is safely treated as an anonymous instrument. It bears the facsimile label of “Meinradus Frank, Adorf 1805”

The violin has received a setup ensuring every aspect is of high standard for a professional player. This violin’s tone is amazingly dark with a good strength and response to it across the strings

The condition and presentation are both fantastic.
