Violin by Leon Bernardel, Paris, 1919
A very nice Leon Bernardel violin, made in Paris, 1919. Fullsize, with a 35.5mm length of back.
The tone of this instrument is fantastic- with a dark colour, brilliantly projected, and even distribution across all four strings. It literally has no resistance for when you play into it.
Really high quality figured maple has been used for this violin, especially for the back! The woodwork is paired with a lush warm-coloured varnish.
This violin is in a excellent state of preservation, with no cracks.
